Anyone know which way up the fronts go, ie: progressive wind at the top or bottom ? They have lettering on so I'm guessing thats a give away |

Nobody know the answer to original question then ? .... I guess they'll go in so the lettering on them is the right way up then |

I'd be inclined to agree with catcrd assuming the diameter of the end coils are the same. That said if I recall correctly from other vehicles the progressive part typically is on the down side but I don't know if that is for functional reasons or just because it "looks" or "feels" right. |

Found this on their website: "2) Which end of the spring is up? H&R springs fit the same way that stock springs do. The shape of the spring is most important. If the spring is the same on both sides and fits the same either direction, then it is correct to install the spring with the closer coils “up”. If the spring is smaller at one end and larger at the other, the orientation should match OEM factory installed springs." http://www.hrsprings.com/technical/frequently-asked-questions |

Ahhhh! Uhnt Billenshteinens! Das est 'Boner Time'!! ....... errrr, about half past three mate ! Mthigh_Freak, cheers dude, my line of thought was to put the close coils at the top, thinkin that the more it's compressed, the stiffer it gets which would be good for the struts |
