Curt hitches are made in Eau Claire, WI (pronounced OH CLAIR!) :-)r

Good quality/ fitment.

There is a hitch sales place in Green Bay that ships and is very reasonable. Unfortunately. I can't think of the name right now.

I just put a curt in my 06. If you have an older model, no skid shield, and live in a salt environment, get a tap to clean out the threads on the chassis.

I notice that Curts are not rated for weight distribution. Anyone using a Curt with Weight Distribution? I am worried and may change my hitch to a draw-tite.

OEM, HiddenHitch, sit behind the bumper and you can only see the receiver.
UHaul comes out lower and can see some of the tubing.

This is a UHaul Hitch.

The receiver bar that comes standard on the tow package supports weight distribution doesn't it?

Jim

Is that an LED pack built into your bumper? Is it switched or wired into reverse with the ones straddling the hitch? That's an awesome idea, I HATE backing around at night not able to see.

Jim

I could not find a label on the factory installed receiver hitch stating so, or any other labels for that matter, but the owners manual strongly recommends a weight distributing hitch at after a certain gross trailer weight. So I took that as a yes and have been using one just fine.
