Anyone found a code reader that will read ABS and SRS codes from a CRD? Looking at an Innova 3160. User Manual says 2002-2008 Liberty, but the CRD is a different animal wonder if anyone has any success with any code reader? |

Well The Innova won't read the CRD ABS codes, but worked fine for SRS. The next step up is the OTC brand, A lot more expensive, Anyone have any experience with OTC scanners? |

The GDE flash tool only reads/clears the engine fault codes. The engine controller is the only module that will turn on the CEL. To read the TCM, ABS, Cluster, BCM, etc. in the CRD it requires a dofferent tool. The dealer scan tool is the only one that can interogate all modules well. |

Too bad. 3160 works with our '05 to read ABS codes, but only sometimes clears them (specifically when the rear speed sensor stops communicating with the ECU/TCM). DOC |

DOC Interesting, It failed communication everytime I tried to read the codes on my 05. To bad, cause it looked like a really nice Scanner. |
