Hello all..
It seems that everyone I call is out of timing belt tensioners (Mopar part number 5142798aa) with either no lead times or lead times of August.. I need it faster than that! I'm at 100k and counting...

I have everything else needed for a timing belt replacement except this part. Any vendors with one in hand? I saw in some post while searching that someone named Corey might stock them, but don't know his user name.

Yes, I am dead set on being as OEM as I possibly can. I'd order it straight from VM in Italy if I could.

Thanks,

John Clark

I just noticed this previously overlooked post: I have PM'ed cevans

I just got a shipment of tensioners from Europe. They are boxed by Ina and manufactured by Litens, the OEM manufacturer.
They are also cheaper by $10.00. I have an initial batch but I am trying to get a feel for how many I should import with the next batch. If you are in the market for a tensioner let me know and I'll be sure to have one available for you.
Here are the pictures:

Corey, I thought there was a regulation on LOST against posting pornographic pictures... :SOMBRERO:

That is a SEXY looking part, compared to the "who made this" of that generic one. That looks even better manufactured than the genuine Litens I got with my spare engine!
