2006 crd 110,000 miles. Do the liberty's have an issue with front pinion bearing failure? I bought the liberty a year ago and always thought the " road noise" was loud. I understand it is a Uni-body and they tend to transfer noise . The tires are bfg street tires. I've owned many cj's with mud tires so I'm fairly sure it's not the tires. The wheel bearings seemed tight and I don't notice much play in the front driveshaft. Any ideas?

Check your front drive shaft CV joints again. Common failure point.
