Hello- I am offering my services for specifically the 100k service (timing belt etc) on your CRD Jeep if you live in the Chicago area. I own a CRD and recently replaced my timing belt as well as a few of the suggested modifications. I also had a bad smoke problem which I troubleshot down to the MAP (did not throw a specific code though). I am now a huge fan again of the CRD and plan on keeping mine a long time. My credentials are: Forklift/Aircraft and hobby car mechanic for the last 20 years. I can do this job right and for much less than the dealers. Please contact me at dllasota@gmail.com if interested.

PM tonycrd to get your name on the Sticky List above.
You may want to expand your area to southern Wisconsin and as far west as Rockford.
Any good Diesel Mechanic is light years ahead of most of the Dealer Techs who are fast parts changers. Any Dealer Tech that is good needs to become a Factory Rep to make a decent living because they get all the tough jobs that take time and don't pay as much on flat rate.
