hi welcome to the forum! Check out the noob guide, in there you will find a section about the ORM....including information on how to disable your EGR on your 2002 2.5 CRD.

Welcome....what Sir SAM said.^^^^

Read the NOOB guide and you will see my blog on disabling the EGR.

Basically you remove the outer small pipe on the EGR solenoid....this sits next to the air-filter and has a small paper filter dangling below it.
Now screw in a small self-tapping screw into the hole that you have exposed in the plastic solenoid housing and replace the small pipe to cover the screw head.

Increases open-road performance mainly and stops the soot getting injected into the intake valves.

Yes I would advise you to get Samco silicon hoses.
They are not easy to get here in SA and while I was looking for some my one OEM hose blew.
I ended up replacing both hoses with OEM ones at a very high price but I do very little mileage these days so I think these will last for the life of myself and the Jeep. :D

You can order the SAMCOs in a variety of colors....I personaly would have gone for black to keep the original look.

NB! Make sure you order the right hoses for your 2.5 Export model....I believe these are narrower in diameter to the hoses in the 2.8 CRDs as used in the USA and Europe from 2005! :?
