Heres our new CRD. It's got the 2.5 inch Daystar Lift and BFG AT TA 255/70/16's. What do yall think about the white walls in? Should I leave them like that, or have the white walls out? That and I don't know if I'm gonna keep the tires. That has been a hard decision. Wondering if I should have em switched with the Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor Series. WHen I'm all done waxing, I'm gonna mount the spare back on.

Nice looking CRD! I had the same tires on my 2002 Liberty with the white walls out, but they look great with the black wall showing. How do you like the daystar lift on that CRD? Ride ok? I'm trying to decide which lift to use on my new CRD. I went threw three lift on my 2002 before I got it right. I know there are very few options for lifting the CRD's right now.

white walls out start to look really crappy once you start rubbing them on rocks.

Thanks all for the compliments. I'll post more pictures when I go to the show Saturday. Hopefully, I will get a good pic with a trophy.

RedJeepCRD, you said you had these tires before. Did you like them? I have been hemming and hawing about going back and getting the Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armors. That and wondering if this size of tire is right, or get the 245/75/16. I like the lift so far. Havn't driven much due to adding more coats of sealent and getting it ready for the show, after that then it's all on!

Have you noticed any change in MPG after lift and tires?

I thought the BFG AT's I had on my 2002 Liberty were great. I used them for rockcrawling, mud, and sand. They are (as far as I'm concerned) the best all around AT tire out there. I know others like different tires but I have had several brands of AT's and MT's tires. The BFG AT's gave me the best all around performance. They will gum up in thick mud a bit more than a MT tire but they are by far better in the sand and much quieter on the street. I have gotten between 35000 and 50000 miles out of my BFG AT's (different vehicles, different setups). The only down side is the cost. BUT!!!! I have not tried the new goodyear silent armor. They may be a better tire. The only thing thats slows me in buying them is the tread depth is not as deep, and the tread pattern is not as aggressive.

Now if I can just wear out my darn factory goodyears so I can buy new tires.
