My dealer (Pro Jeep in Northglenn, CO) is offering four oil changes (with the Mopar 0W-40 synthetic and, I assume, the Mopar filter) for $199, which is cheaper than I can do it myself with the oil/filter prices I've found. Should I specifically tell them NOT to perform the F37 TCM mod? Is that something I should be worried about in taking my CRD to the dealer for any reason or should I only be concerned if I have them perform additional work?

That's a decent price if it applies to a diesel, my past experience is that the fine print on these offers says upto Xqts of oil or excludes diesels.

Have you checked your VIN on the Jeep website to see if there are any outstanding recalls, if the F-37 is not listed it's likely already been done even if you have the pre-F-37 shift points as it's not uncommon for folks who got the work done to have requested no change to the TCM, my 05 was that way when I got it. Bottom line though my practice when I, rarely, take my Jeep to a dealer is to write on the ticket that they are not authorized to hook any of my electronic systems up to their diagnostic equipment without my written (not verbal) approval.
