I am hearing a slight howl sound when standing in the engine bay with the hood open and jeep running at Idle.. Maybe fan bearing? It's not super loud, any ideas??

Absent any other information you might want to check your alternator clutch pulley. At idle stand on the driver's side where you can look down the serp belt to the tensioner (lower passenger side of engine); if the tensioner is essentially rock solid the clutch pulley is ok but if the tensioner is bouncing around the alternator clutch pulley is probably shot.

Thanks for the reply but I have been there done that!
Replaced the pulley once and I think I over tightened it so it lasted maybe 30k miles. Noticed the lights dimming alot so I juts bought a new oem alternator so I don't think that's the issue.

You might remove the serpentine belt long enough to check each of the idlers, P.S. pump (low on fluid?), etc.

The idlers seem to lose their packed lubricant before going really bad - and in that middle state run almost dry and spin very freely.. you may have idlers in both states. Keep that in mind during inspection, and of course if there's any play or a 'gritty' feeling when spinning by hand it's time to R&R.

I just replaced my belt and part of the noise went away but I could still see the idler bouncing, so new alt is being ordered. I also have been noticing a bit more noise and just found the MAF to turbo hose was broken. I will be ordering new parts in the morning.
