Remove front skid plate and remove drain plug on front differential. Install drain plug, remove fill plug, fill differential, install fill plug. Install front skid plate.

I would remove the fill first just in case you cannot remove the fill after draining it. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2 |

YOu have to slide right in under the Jeep, its almost better to look at it from the back forward. Drain hole sits flush with the bottom of the diff and is an Allan key. |

My fat head no fitty under axle Posted reply in wrong section. I found it there is so much soot it's hard to see what's going on. Yes I am blind lol in dark garage. Thought drain was missing and had no fluid in front axle. It's there flush and uses same tool for oil plug. Going to pickup car ramps to get sucker up and try autotranny change. As far tcase I am used to wranglers doing changes and 5gallon buckets fit underneath with 33inch tires or larger. Select trac is moved further back in center for all wheel drive mode has shafts going in and out. No excuse for not changing out oil it's easy with proper adj funnel. |
