I just installed a lift pump temporary under my Hood. Now I have done some research and found mix results does it make a big difference if its under the Hood or near the tank? I plan to extend the hose and mount it under the battery but I'm not sure what to do. |

Near the tank for best results. Definitely between the tank and fuel filter. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2 |

For an inline lift pump; low down near the fuel tank is ideal but in the engine bay before the fuel filter works also per several members. If/when I get around to installing the Facet that's sitting on my shelf I'll probably put it in the engine bay with a clear prefilter just so I can eyeball any big crud going thru the system. Of course in tank is probably even better but that requires a bit more work. If I was to do this I'd probably get rid of all the quick disconnects at the same time. |
