Check the relays and harness plugs. There is one by the TCM on the right fender that is easy to bump and partly unplug. I spent hours before I found the plug by the TCM, I knocked loose.

Harbor Freight has a cheap gauge set and if you are not a repair shop the EPA watches more than our US Military watches the Terrorists in Gitmo, you can attach the gauges and see if you have any R-134A left. If enough of the R-134A leaks out, the low pressure switch will shut off the AC.
Take it into some Dealers or AC shops, they will Evac and Recharge before they check for a bad relay, fuse, or loose plug so they can keep the EPA Nazis with their insane fines off their back and make money selling the mandated service.
The Historical perspective on refrigerants is that when ever DuPont's Patent runs out, the old stuff becomes evil and bad for the ozone hole in a former US Senator/VP's head (he was from Tennessee), and a new refrigerant comes out that will save the world just in time that won't work in the old systems. Dealers and AC shops went through the BS in the 90's and the HVAC Contractors just got through their conversion. If DuPont pays off enough politicians, Dealers and AC Shops will get to go through it again in a few years. Does anyone know how to say Corruption? As far as the Ozone hole goes, don't lay on the ground face down if there is a refrigerant leak, it is heavier than air and goes to the ground and you could suffocate. :ROTFL: :ROTFL: :ROTFL:

If the Food and drug Administration was as bad as the EPA, you would need prescriptions for, 1) Coffee, 2) Chocolate, or 3) Blue Cheese.
