as in the title, does anyone have the wheel speed sensor wire part number? Front Passenger side. Its frayed and I suspect replacement is the fix, not ust taping it up, correct? |

Not sure of the number, call local car parts supplier and ask for ABS sensor for that side. Comes with sensor and wire for around $30 or so. Be cautious removing the old sensor. Mine broke and I had to drill it out, I drilled too deep and damged the ring gear, had to replace that also. If your ABS light is not on then just tape it for now and see what happens. |

Isn't the ABS sensor a part of the wheel bearing? I know mine is.... |

you can order the sensor/cable separate ($) or as part of the hub assembly ($$$) |

in case anyone has this issue i ordered part SU8068 from autozone its made by wells electronics and i'd try and squirt some loosener or something in the area where it inserts into the hub a day early if you can. the plastic on mine was somewhat "welded" to the hub assembly, it broke off with little effort. i ended up having to drill, tweeze, drill, tweeze, and then use an easy out to pull the bottom of the old plug out. it was a royal pia. and the ABS light did not go out until after i backed up in the driveway and started moving forward. |

It appears this is common. It seems the pax side always goes first. When mine went my odometer stopped working. The speedo was fine, but the od and trip meter wouldnt work. I had it replaced while in the road in Phoenix. |
