Are they eventually going to break, or are the broken plugs isolated incidents?
Lots of factors involved, like:
- How many miles to you have and are you going to do it yourself or have it done at a trusted shop?
- Are you in a climate where you have them get used a lot? If so, then replacement before the next winter might be a good plan.
- Do you have a contingency for if one breaks in the process of the work so you're not stranded?
I think they WILL wear out eventually, but you might not see that happen for a long time if you're in a warm climate.
