So I went to the dealer that I bought my CRD from today to get my free oil change. While I was there I asked about TSB 18-09-06. The service writer pulled it up and read through it and informed me that he did not have anyone in on Saturday that could do that procedure, only had the Oil Change mechanics were in. He let me keep the TSB and said if I brought it back during the week he would have one of the Technicians do it for me. He did not ask if I had any specific problems related to the TSB, he just said that they would do it. The TSB says 1.1 hours for ECM and .8 hours for the TCM reprogram, he thought it would take about an hour total. As for the oil change I asked what type of oil they were going to use and he did not know so he asked the mechanics and they gave him the bottle of Mobil 1 0W40 that he brought and showed to me. After the oil change he gave me the 1/2 quart that was left over. I would say pretty good service for a free oil change. EDIT: I shoud have mentioned that the dealer is Stillwater Motors in Stillwater MN. |
