Has anyone removed this item? It just looks un-necessary. |

I've been referring to it as a counter weight to prevent axle twist or rise at the shaft joint. The harmonic damper is on the rear shaft just behind thevtransfer case, unless you'e removed it as some have. |

lot's of the V6 folks have removed them. |
