I hear a noise when I am driving probably coming from the direction. It is the typical kind of noise cars do when turning on a curve at high speeds but I am listening to it almost all the time with minor turns on the road.
Could this be related to the steering wheel system? If so, I can't find the location of the steering wheel fluid receptacle on the engine. The manual only shows it on the gas models but not for the diesel one. Somebody knows where it is located? Could it be just that?
Mine is a kj, 2006 CRD.
Thank you.

The Power Streering fluid reservoir is the small plastic bottle located on the passenger side in the engine bay just behind the airfilter box.

Sounds like ball joints, were your ball joints ever replaced under warranty?

Thank you, I'll check the level of the fluid. Don't know what the ball joints are, but today I drived in deep powder sand and had to force the engine a lot on a curve on 4WD Low. After that the noise started.
I don't know if the previous owner replaced the ball joints.

Inspect the plastic boots on the constant velocity joints for tears, sometime the boots tend to rip open when off roading becasue they rub against rocks or by hitting objects, allowing dirt and sand to get in there.

A high pressure water wash under that area would be in order .... it will help to remove the dirt from the parts so that you can easily see where the problem might be and it may get rid of the problem.

I took the car to the mechanic today and he says that most likely the problem is with the bearings. They probably lost their shape and are rubbing against each other... Is this theory possible?
