If I understand right, the process of taking my Jeep in for its lower control arm recall would leave my shocks exposed to be replaced, right? Any idea what the dealer would have to say if I asked to have my rear shocks replaced while they perform the recall? I'm assuming I would have to pay still obviously, but would they try to charge me full labor hours for the shocks despite being in there anyways? Or am I completely off on this line of thinking?

Rear shocks do not have to be removed or touched to replace the rear LCA's,you will be stuck paying full labor.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure where I got the idea that the LCA were involved. I'll just go with my normal mechanic then. Thanks :)
