2006 CRD . Have had loCool message on odometer a few times and topped up the coolant. Could there be any relationship between coolant loss and #2 Glow plug low voltage as I've replaced it twice recently.?

Any thoughts on coolant loss? No leaks seen. Pressure test system = ok.

What gives?

Thanks, Richard

Slow leak somewhere. On cold engine crank up run like 15-20 sec, shut down, any pressure when you remove radiator cap? if so likely head gasket. If not. Go to parts store get UV coolant dye, add to system, drive, look for leak with UV light (cheap on Amazon).

+1 to papaindigo's head gasket check but make sure to open the cap to relieve any pressure before you crank up the engine.

So the steps would be:
1) open reservoir cap on cold engine
2) reinstall reservoir cap
3) start and run engine for 20 seconds
4) shut off engine
5) remove reservoir cap and listen for air escaping.

If you hear air escaping your head gasket is likely leaking.

Mine had a crack in the metal coolant tube that goes to the EGR.

The crack was at the welded bracket where the tube screws to the top of the engine.

A very slow drip.
