Our '05 Sport has decided it doesn't have OD now. It came to us with the F37 already done. I recently accomplished the TB and water pump procedure, many thanx to the contributors on that subject. I feel the OD problem is likely electrical. I have tried the key cycling while driving, but no tricking into overdrive. I also tried to clean and reseat the TCM connector, and I am starting to check the harness. The sluggish start feels as though the brakes are applied, but no excess heat at the hubs. RPMs go to 1900 before it begins to move. Could this be TCM failure or the Torque converter? After searching this forum, only one other had both codes. He said he replaced the TCM and most problems went away, Does a TCM need to be programmed or are they generic? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Norman
I have checked trans and diff fluids, and connectors on trans., all appears ok. Also the Cruise light comes on, but no workie, the same with OD button.
