That's a strange code to get all of a sudden as it's saying your automatic tranny is coded as a manual which is an ECU "thing" that Kieth at GDE knows about and can probably fix if real. Assuming when you turn the key nothing happens in the way of an attempt to start then the "rod" from the key under the steering column to the ignition switch is probably broken. Start looking there. |

It's my understanding that your ECU has to be tuned with your injector codes, Keith at GDE would definitely know more than I, but I know I had to write down all the injector codes on mine when I got the tune, and it's required, so I'm surprised another ECU will crank it and run right, but yeah, definitely sounds like an ECU issue. |

What happens if you jumper out the Starter Relay? The ECU will stop the Starter relay from energizing if it is not happy with some inputs but the fact that it works with another ECU does point to a bad ECU. With the new ECU installed...it probably only runs for a few seconds because the SKIS code does not match. |
