Happy holidays to all!

Just changed my fuel head from the 1st generation to the 2nd generation because of air in the system. This was a week ago and I am still experiencing air in the system and a pulley along my accesory belt somewhere is chirping/squeaking away. Could a pulley on the accesory belt affect my fuel system?

I am thinking I will need to install a pump and find the leak. Inline is easier to install but maybe not as effective as the in tank. Is easier installation best route for this task?

Thanks to all in advance.

The chirping noise is most likely being caused by the overrun pulley on you alternator being bad. It's a common problem.

A new style fuel head is not a guarenteed fix for air in the fuel and some think it's a result of the air in the fuel causing the original fuel heater to overheat.

The best cure for air in the fuel is to install a IN TANK LIFT PUMP :JEEPIN:

My CRD had it bad from day one. The dealer and Chrysler's warranty was no help :5SHOTS:

Most original CRD owners learned this about 7 years ago. It may be in Sam's NEWB guide

Some need the lift pump some don't. My air in fuel problems have been solved each time by changing the fuel head. I changed to the 2nd generation as a precaution but prior under warranty the fuel head had already been replaced twice.
