At 160k I have an intermittent code p0841. It seems to cause the tranny to start in 2nd and avoid 5th... also looses cruise control. If I stop and shut everything down a few minutes it corrects but does not clear check engine light. The light comes and goes on it's own. Does anyone have experience/advice?

From what I've read, it could be the transmission cooler return filter or a new torque converter, or failing to use the correct ATF4 fluid.
