I just bought a '06 Liberty CRD with around 160K miles on it. I'm going to assume it needs a timing belt/water pump/tensioners. I'm looking for a reputable mechanic to do the work, but so far haven't found anyone in the Omaha area recommended.

If I don't get any reference responses, should I focus on dealerships with Jeep and Dodge combined (i.e. more experience with diesels than a Jeep only dealer)?

Ask your local dealer where you can find a dealership that works on Chrysler Sprinter Vans. These vans are equipped with CRD VM motors.
