I do not have secondary lights on my CRD Sport.

I would like to add some daytime led driving lights, anyone done something similar?

What did you use?

Bill

I just picked up some of these:

The first set I bought came with a nice box and wiring harness, even though they were advertised as not having any. I bought another 4 lights and they came as the light only, sans box and wiring harness. I'm using them as backup lights on my dads vanagon.

The lights that sir sam found look bright but the ad says something like close outs - cracked lenses. Many best to look a tittle more

they have those lights undamaged at 45 for a pair.

I am investigating dimmable options so I can have a lower setting for daytime driving but also be able to crank up a light bar when needed.

The ones I posted have a dimmer wire you connect to power source of your choosing.

I'll check the specs, I'm looking at the 45w light bar

Nice,
Did you use a dimmer switch? I like the option of less until you need it with these lights, they are pretty intense beams compared to existing headlights.

No, just on and off, they make great offroad lights, but shine a little high for driving all the time. Might make a deflector for the top.
