I am driving my second CRD. The fuel mileage on this on SUCKS!. I read in another post about defective fuel pressure solenoids.

I am lucky if I am getting 15 mpg at present. What is weird is that on the highway this car is getting better fuel burn than my old car! I am puzzled.
This car is straight piped and has 131K miles.

im getting bad mileage for the 1st time my fuel pressure solenoid is bad-told by dealer but its $800 thru them ive always gotten 25+ with mixed driving 30 in hwy. now it s 19 mixed! im trying to figure it out.
