With the shorter CV on the drivers side we (CRD owners) have to deal with a steeper angle. Has anyone tried using a front clevis fork from a KK liberty to give more room?

Tonycrd has shown how tight the room is on his at full droop for an example.

Thanks!

it's been tried and Tommudd didn't recommend it on a gasser - and they've got better CV angles to begin with.

that said - I think it's 10mm's longer than the KJ - and if you look at Tony's setup
he has 3x 1/8" conduit nuts at the bottom - which is really close to 10mm
so the KK clevis without any clevis lift - might give you some extra clearance - but not any extra lift.

I have heard it is longer and not. I would rather pay 50 bucks for a fork that would give me the clearance than a "free" clevis lift personally. I am thinking (with 790 coils) a longer fork on driver's side and match it with top plate/clevis lift on passenger side.

We'll see when/if I get around to it. I plan on doing that once I get my winch installed in the ARB, put in my A Arms and get an alignment.
