after changing wheel bearings on both sides i am still getting tire wear on the inside of tire. is this most likely caused by lower ball joints being shot? also if this is the problem were an i get replacements that do not cost a ton of money?

Get a alignment done?

For LBJ's only use Moog's K3199's with the grease zerk, and actually grease them. There generally $60-$70 each.

You should have the alignment checked, and set if needed,at least once a year, every 6 months is better. If you have a Firstone around they have a lifetime alignment package which is very handy,$180 and you never pay for a alignment again on your KJ no matter what, even if you bring it in once a week.

As your coils settle(sag) it effects both the camber and toe which wears tires.

Ball joints go regularly atleast where I live because I changed mine around 120k miles and I looked at two liberties for sale that both had bad ball joints. When you hit the brakes you can feel it move when coming to a stop. On my wifes I replaced the lower and the upper. Lowers what normally goes bad. But I need to make it 5 more years and atleast another 145k more miles so I changed both. The uppers I purchased new A arms. And the lowers I got ones with grease fittings. I traded out the labour to do the work but I had to pay for the parts ---over $600.

RockAuto seems to sell the K80767 for MY05-07 and K3199 for the rest although I've seen many references to all models using the K3199. Regardless, the price is about $70 for a pair. Anyone know what the difference is?

The K80767's are the sealed version and the K3199's are the heavy duty greaseable version.

I know I shouldn't trust pictures online but most parts suppliers show pics that look like the 3199 is sealed and the 80767 with the zerk. I guess the only way to be sure is to visit a local distributor.

I bought a K80767 a couple years back off Amazon on sale for like $15. Don't remember how or why I stumbled upon it and they only had one in stock. Anyway, I'm looking at it now and it's the one in the bottom picture with the fitting.

I just replaced my Ball Joints. I ordered the K3199s and Upper Control Arms ( All Moog) from Amazon also. The K3199s came with grease fittings. I will recheck my invoice to be sure.
