Hi all, I have an 03 jeep cherokee/liberty 2.8 crd, I think the sump is leaking. I have pulled the starter miter out and checked the rear main with a feeler gauge but all is dry. I am just wondering if anyone has been able to remove the sump with the engine in and no cross members removed. Any advise would be great. Thanks |

Someone posted instructions a couple of days - I think it was GDE - sounded like a couple of hours to get it high enough to pull it if necessary (Can't find it at the moment - If I do - I'll add the link) but make sure that's the problem - it's aluminum so cracks generally need the unit replaced (there are welders that can handle Aluminum but they're special) |
