My driver side rear window is stuck in the closed position and won't do down. Any ideas why. Thanks

Odd, the normal failure mode is for the plastic part to fail and the window to drop (e.g. not stay up). When you toggle the switch can you hear any motor sound? Alternatively have you tried the switch on the rear of the center console?

Offhand I'd guess no power to the motor or a dead motor.

Go to http://www.steigerperformance.com/dif.cgi?SP13001 and grab a copy of their manual on installation of the regulator repair kit. It has good instructions on getting into the window operating mechanism which you will likely need to do along with pretty good pictures. Get in there and see if a part is broken or if you can determine if the motor is getting power but not working. FYI the "sticky" on the water dam wants to stick to anything so be careful where you place the dam while working inside the door. Also I find a thin 1-1.5" metal putty knife works just fine to pop the panel; start at the bottom corner, slide the putty knife behind the panel and then sideways until it's next to a panel pin and pry up/out to get things started.

My rears won't go down either. Of course, it could be something to do with the blocks of 2x4 that are screwed in where the regulators were once attached :-)r
