This could just be my imagination. But I could swear that my CRD doesn't "get up and go" like it used to. I'm at 21,500 miles now. Have done all regular maintenance and service to it. No CELs at all now. I even run Power Service injector cleaner through it every once in a while. But I swear it seems like when I get on the throttle it just doesn't feel as strong as it used to.

Now I know my tires are sucking a little power...and my roof basket causes a little drag. But I'm talking about from a dead stop at red lights this thing is starting to feel sluggish to me. Anybody else know what could be going on here? Is it just my imagination probably?

I'm at 15,500 miles and no issues, but I'm wondering if there is something to using "Provent" so that the intake is not all clogged up with carbon and oil soot?

I just did a quick 60 mile run and feel the exact same thing, I was thinking it had to do with the TSB flash last week....

This may seem to be out in left field, but I just got mine back it had been dying and so on. The tranny was low on fluid and now it seems to have more power! I also had the tranny shudder which seems to be gone!

If it is slow from a dead stop but runs find at road speeds, I will bet the farm it's your EGR.
