I have seen Jake Brakes on RV equipment sites, but the Jake Brake is illegal to use in/near lots of towns around the US due to the noise it makes. The other problem is that real estate on the CRD is not plentiful.

You cannot put an original jacobs engine brake on our tractor. Those operate the exhaust valves on the compression stroke. As for an exhaust brake, not sure if I would and to risk floating valves with too much back pressure.
