My right rear brake line at the flexible line portion attached to the caliper has a very large bubble/bulge in it. It's ready to burst. I've had an intermittent wheel sensor wiring issue this winter that I repaired.

I'm glad I got around to it today. Its an accident waiting to happen. I'm sharing this with the hope that this is an isolated incident but something to check next time you rotate your tires or do a brake job.

Since you brought up the topic of flexible brake lines, KJs are prone to internal collapse of the flex lines when at operating temperature. This has no visible indication, but the caliper pistons cannot retract and the brakes drag. My wife had the right front completely lockup while on an interstate highway.

When the brakes cool down, the problem disappears, so it can be difficult to pinpoint.

So, if you are thinking you should finally get around to flushing your brake fluid, it would not be a bad idea to change your flex lines.

Had to replace both front lines on mine over a year ago. Same thing, buldges in the lines & ready to burst.

I flush a quart of new brake fluid through the system every spring, maybe it's time to think about replacing the hoses.

This is a problem that has plagued many manufacturers, not just Chrysler ,over the years. These hoses usually last the life of the vehicle so I don't think there's any benefit to changing them unless they're bulging, cracking or show symptoms related to collapse.
