733 incorrect gear 3 ratio
734 incorrect gear 4 ratio
735 incorrect gear 5 ratio

I think your torque converter is toast.

Thanks Keith,

I would like to have proof in hand .... How can I confirm that prior to bringing it back to the dealer?

Those codes all tend to point at a lock-up clutch that is not locking up. If the dealer pulls the codes and understands their product, then it should be fairly easy for them to determine the root cause.

Ok, I hope so....

But here is an update, I took the jeep out for a ride and when I returned I checked the codes again and only the 0700 code is showing, the other codes have gone away, will the dealer still be able to pull the codes?

Update:
Dealer pulled the following codes:
P0733 Gear ratio error in third.
P0735 Gear ratio error in fourth prime.
P0868 Line pressure low.
P0869 Line pressure High.
P0935 Line pressure sensor high.
P1790 Fault immediate after shift.

Transmission was worked on last June. TC was replaced, pump was replaced, intercooler and hoses were replaced. Transmission was disassembled and reassembled for some unknown reason.

Warranty is in question Chrysler Customer care has been made aware of the issue and has assigned a case manager on it. Expecting a call tomorrow to find out if it will be repaired under warranty.

I've got the codes P0871 and P0750.
Transmission doesn't seem to be shifting into higher gear.
This happened right along the the Frontage road along the 40 when turning off of University in ABQ.
Are these also signs of the TC about to bite it?

P0750 - Shift solenoid "A" circuit issue
P0871 - Trans fluid pressure sensor switch "C" performance or OD pressure rationality fault.

Something electrical or a couple failed sensors. You need a shop to do some testing.

Chrysler customer care called and said " The transmission is no longer under warranty" and that the case is closed.

I was not pleased with this answer so I asked that my case to be reconsidered and was assigned a new case manager who was not sure how to proceed, so I asked to speak to a supervisor.

The supervisor was understanding and believed that the Transmission could still be under the original F37 recall warranty or maybe even the 7/70 since the vehicle only has 56,000 miles on it. She assigned a new case manager to take over.

A new case manager informed me that further investigative work will need to be done and to expect a response in 5 days.

I just upped and took it to a place in Lubbock.
I bought it with an extended service option that covered things like this, so we'll bite the bullet and see what happens.

The jeep is still at the dealer, 5 weeks now. They haven't determined what the problem is yet and the transmission has been torn apart 3 times.

To this day, this transmission has had 5 TC replaced within 14 months all under the direction of Chrysler customer care.

1 factory tc replaced with 1 at F37 update.

2 TC replaced last year after 2nd TC failed.

1 TC recently swapped.

I feel that a new transmission would be the best way to repair this problem and I have voiced this to Chrysler.

Dealer said that a brand new Transmission with a new TC and Pump pre installed at the factory is on its way to him now and will be installed in my CRD as soon as it gets there.

Woo Hoo.

Transmission is installed and shifts perfect, but I have a constant chirping noise coming from the bell housing area when I am stopped and the transmission is in drive or reverse. The noise goes away when it is in neutral or Park.

The chirping is pretty loud.

Any ideas?

Take it back to the dealer now and get it fixed, again.

That's what he was saying. Properly rebuilt/adjusted/new transmissions do not "CHIRP."

Update: The dealer took care of the problem. The transmission shifts smooth and the noise is gone, but I still have an harmonic wobble / shake that is felt while traveling at sustained speeds of 60 MPH and above.

I called Chrysler customer care again to tell them about the issue and the representative directed me to take it back to the dealer and have it checked out again.

I have to say that I am very happy with the way I have been treated by Chrysler customer care, they have been diligently working with me to fix these issues. The representatives' exact words were the following "Sir, we plan to make things right with the vehicle, what ever it takes. We want you to be happy with your vehicle."

I don't know what changed but it sounds a little different than what the rep was saying on previous occasions, when the only words I heard were "sorry sir, there is nothing we can do for you."
