I have searched for answers and cannot find anything. My 2005 CRD has been running great until this afternoon. There was a noticeable loss of power and cel. I checked the codes and found U0146 and P0146 codes. I checked my ECM connections and grounds but did not really find anything. If I clear the codes I can drive a few mile before the light comes back on to the same codes. U0146 P0146 U0146 P0146 Anyone have any ideas at all? Pleas help |

Ok, After so many months of following this problem in my jeep. I have checked grounds traced wires etc. I reached the point that I was done and when whatever was wrong would finally go I would find the problem. A month ago my father in law noticed my high mounted stop light bulb was out. I replaced it and have not had a problem or trouble code since. Why? |

Same "reason" a car I had decades ago would "report" a bad headlight bulb by the turn signals going nuts even though the 2 were on completely different parts of the wiring and different fuses. Electrical systems do weird things and modern computer systems make them do even weirder things. If this "fix" works say thanks and move on. Long winded version of I have no clue either. |
