I don't post at all, come here when I need something for my Jeep and can always find what I need with searching. Great site, did my homework here before I bought it, "fixed" the quirks of this little tractor and have been driving it ever since.

But I digress, let me back up a little. I purchased my 2005 Jeep CRD from a dealer in Florida, I'm in Michigan and a dealer as well. Flew to Tampa, picked it up and drove her home. Within two weeks took it to Keith for the eco tune, replaced the intercooler hoses, did the other maintenance items. Installed a hitch and brake controller. The Jeep had 62k on it, that was February of 2012, it now has 89k on it. I own a trailer dealership and use it for frequent trips to Indiana to get trailers, deliver trailers to customers or bring to a show. There have been times were I had 6 different trailers hooked to the Jeep in one day. This thing is amazing, tows great, holds overdrive and uses the torque of the engine. Love this thing!!

Torque converter is slipping more often so I ordered a new one today. Get that done and I will have Keith bump up the tune a little.

Nice pics of your rig towing. Do you ever use air bags in the rear springs or a weight distributing hitch to ease the load on the rear end?

I don't, all the trailers I tow are empty, for the most part. And I would say 75% of the time it's a single axle 6x12 or smaller trailer. I never felt like I needed a WD hitch or sway bar.

I do have a F250 gasser for really big trailers, I hate driving that truck, gets 12 mpg empty!! 7-9mpg towing!!
