How my day went in Uwharrie....
While positioning for a photo opp. during a nice day of wheeling with Carolina L.O.S.T. in Uwharrie National Forest. I heard a pop sound and a loss of power steering. I get out of my kj and look underneath to find a pool of p.s. fluid collecting on the ground. Come to find out, the fitting on the line coming out of the steering box, was not connected properly from the factory and came off. After trying unsuccesfully to repair the break and after talking with a Jeep service tech, we decided to press on. We ended up finishing the trails without the assistance of power steering (over-rated btw). I was lucky enough to meet up with a group from Carolina Rock Shop(rock rails) and we caravaned home. I am dropping her off at the dealership tonight and I expect a fight come Monday morning.
Moral of the story.......

btw, the CRD preformed beautifully on the trails.
