Post subject: | Rebuild front drive shaft, too late? Same as gas jeep? |
Well my front drive shaft is wasted and removed and wondering if it is too wasted for a rebuild kit? Anyone know of any writeups on the rebuild? Are the CRD driveshafts the same as a gas jeep? ![]() |

Pack it full of grease and put it back in! ![]() I personally would replace that. That's pretty bad. Billy |

That looks pretty simple/straight forward. I haven't fooled with one on the Jeep, but it looks like a simple CV assembly on a splined shaft. Looks like an easy fix. Price is right too. I would do it as long as the splines are fine on the axle. Billy |
