My wifes CRD A/C won't work. The clutch will not ingage. I looked at the service manual and saw where the Diesel models have input or output to the ECM. Has anyone had this problem? I gave the system some R134 so don't think its the hi/low pressure switches. I swapped the A/c relay and checked the fuse all were good. Thanks |

Thanks I had a problem in this area with my 2002 Export CRD....had to replace both wires going from the AC relay to the clutch...fortunately had the circuit diagrams. You will need to trace the problem down with a Multimeter...maybe the high/low pressure sensors have gone faulty...I have seen one post where this was the case.....maybe the clutch coil has burnt out ![]() |

I'm thinking the clutch coil is the culprit |

I had this problem, twice. My issue was a low pressure switch. |

will look at the LP switch again and see if I missed anything. |
