I was looking into OBDII things for my 2005 CRD Liberty and saw mention of DRBIII for Chrysler/Jeep vehicles through 2005. From 2006 onward, they ran OBDII apparently...I'm not entirely sure I believe it, but I haven't figured out if DRBIII is just a Chrysler name for an early non standardized OBDII interface? Anyone know anything about this stuff? Thanks, Jon |

DRBIII is Chrysler's scan tool for OBDII vehicles, through 2005. From 2006+, they are CAN, not OBDII. |

And now the Witech is the goto 'scanner' (its actually a wireless pod and the data viewing is done on a pc). |

Starscan only goes to 2010 unfortunately, not sure why they would discontinue it after only a few years of service. The witech can be used as a DRBIII on most DRB cars except it wont xo some programming or actuators. |
