Just took the Liberty in for service for the 20th time, anyone else sick of this yet?

Sounds like water pump bearings or its the water pump is going bad it makes an Intermittent grinding sound. Also, it has been going through coolant and the coolant is very dark now, all of this happened within a couple of days. I hope its not a gasket issue.

I had to fight them to get a rental, they won't give a loaner or pick you up to get your car after the service is performed. The guy just sat there saying I need to purchase and extended service type warranty, I was just like there is no way I am paying anything else for this jeep, its a 2005, under warranty and I have to bring it in once a week for repairs. Man this gets old fast.

Dang dude! I beleive I'd be checking the Lemon Laws in my state if things were THAT bad! Wow! If there is nothing you can do under Lemon Laws, at least send 62,452,526,267 emails to Jeep. CLICK HERE!!! Fill out this form and let them know what your problem is, where you've been, and what has been going on. The only time I've seen a trouble dealer ever behave differently is when the manufacturer was contacted.

How many miles do you have so far? I've been in once to get a few TSBs done that I probably didn't have to do, but was concerned about long term reliabliity if I didn't. My service guy did not even let me know when the jeep was done. I sat there an extra 1.5 hours in the waiting room before discovering on my own the Jeep was done. Customer service has been pretty poor.

I have a broken airbox from the factory. Simple fix. They ordered the airbox and said they would call me when it comes in. They never called. I called yesterday and the Service Guy looks it up in his computer and says "Nope, not here yet." I hang up, call back to speak with the parts department and they say "yeah it's been here for a week!" WTF?

Service Guy probably never checked his computer, just lied...

With my Toyota Sienna the service department bends over backwards for me when I need help, and is very courteous...

I have 23,000 and some change in less than 8 months it was an early built jeep february of 05, I haven't had my egr out yet but make that my next visit. The service manager was like "I bet toyota and Nissan and all the other dealers are having the same conversation that we are right now" I told him that I bet they weren't, toyota would give you a rental or atleast pick you up to come get your car after its done, Lexus gives you a loaner, along with mazda and all the other dealers I've been too. Plus there cars are not having all these problems, I've never taken a car in for service this much. Its a crap built car and they know it. They needed to do some testing before selling and they'd know these problems exist.

poor sportsmanship on their part ... my dealer spots me a loaner if the repair takes more than an hour or so ... Once I took a loaner ... drove it home .. let it sit there for 1 week+ .. brought it back when I got back in town ... they had absolutely no issue with that.

I got it back on friday with it still loosing coolant and grinding, service rep said that there are 2 water pumps on the crd and now I've taken it back in to get it repaired the second time, can anyone verify that he's full of it. I believe that there is only one water pump on the crd.

So that heater pumps and heats when its plugged in from the heater cord? Or is that working when the engine is running all the time?

It's engaged something below coolant 170° and ambient 65° ... it helps the CRD to heat up better in cold weather. When the motor is running

here is a desc. of it I had bookmarked from some time ago
