Does anyone know if any of the aftermarket skid plate companies make a skid that allows clearance for a larger tranny pan? I smashed up my tranny pan this past weekend wheeling, and figure while im looking for a tranny pan skid plate, i might as well replace the pan and put a deep pan on it.

Any comments too as to which skid plates are best would be great!

I beat the rig hard in the woods, so factory mopar skids arnt my best option

They all mount the same so all the trans skids would have to be spaced down the clear deep pans, kinda defeats the whole purpose since you will have a skid hanging down so far it will catch on things.

There has been some chat recently about Asfir aluminum skid plates being decent and on sale right now. I cannot comment on how good they are as I'm running OEM ones but folks seemed to like them and I just checked and they are still on sale. See http://www.asfir4x4.com/

I have an Asfir tank skid - the rest of my skids are by Skid Row(they didn't have the tank skids in stock back when I was ordering). It seems good and the aluminium is pretty thick.

I own them and as you see I am not a light weight and and degist can tell you I am not easy on my rig. Last year I went to ECS with a dysfunctional transfer and had no 4x4 so I had to keep steam up to keep up. I bounced them on rocks tree roots everything not a single issue.
