So did some searching on here and all sounds like bad news discovered a nice coolant leak somewhere on the turbo side of things ?
I can only trace it due to limited areas to look in between to somewhere behind the power steering pump. Thoughts, Suggestions, ?
And I've had no signs of any leak before or after replacing thermostat 5 months ago.

Is it an external leak as in coolant on the ground under the vehicle? If so it's unlikely to be a head gasket issue unless it's coming from exhaust gas pushing too much coolant thru the coolant tank over flow. So:
1. I assume you are sure it's coolant not simply condensed water vapor from the AC box. If you touch your tongue to it coolant is sweet.
2. Possible leak sources include - cracked coolant tank, hoses (coolant tank ones and both heater hoses), leaky heater core dripping coolant via the AC box drain, oil cooler on passenger side sort of in front of turbo but a bit lower, etc.

If you look over on the CRD Tech site I've posted some engine pictures that may help.

You might consider some UV dye in the coolant and a UV light to find the source if it's not obvious.

Thank you for the reply

Well I'm sure it is coolant as it was low and I can smell it burning off the block. Definitely not water vapor. I am guessing from location it may be an oil cooler line.

Hopefully it is just a bad clamp on the upper radiator hose at the thermostat end. Or the thermostat housing itself from the factory press weld? Sorry forgot the actual term.

I more than likely overreacted. I think I cured the problem, fingers are crossed. But with all the horror story's about these little diesels, and the fact I'm down to one and only vehicle right now due to a move I'm SOL if anything does happen right now. Thank You Again have a Blessed Day

I would have guessed higher up than the oil cooler if you can smell it burning off. The oil cooler is below the exhaust manifold and the block down there shouldn't be, I don't think, hot enough to cause the smell. Higher up things like heater lines, tstat and viscous lines though could drip onto the exhaust manifold and burn the drip off immediately. FYI all factory spring clamps, not just DCJ, are junk use once and throw away as they depend on spring tension to grip and don't take kindly to removal and reinstall multiple times which is why I always replace them with worm of "T" bolt clamps when I service a line with a spring clamp.
