Oh yes that can definitely cause a power loss. It's P1252-VACUUM RESERVOIR SOLENOID SHORT CIRCUIT per the diagnostic codes in the 06 FSM (not included in the 05 FSM). You probably need a new boost pressure solenoid which is likely PN 4606226AC for about $45 although it's a common solenoid so alternatives should exist. You can bypass the solenoid (see
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=70602&p=757348&hilit=boost+solenoid#p757348) which should give you the power back and confirm the issue. Note the comment in that post regarding allowing a few seconds for vacuum to build before "asking" the turbo to perform.
