Wow, I was thinking $1,800. Might have to do a stocker again that's a little much for my wallet.
Oh and take that K&N out of your rig!!!!!

If you already have a GDE tune. I believe it a little cheaper. You would have to Keith.

Well its one step up from stock as long as you keep it real clean and very very little oil on it.. just at mist let it sit overnight

What filter do you recomend that I put on there?
1)Amsoil EA
2)Wix
3)K&N Dry filter
4)Fram
5)AEM
6)???

Wix or stock

K&N's will kill your engine - yes you're flowing more air - yes you're flowing more dirt.

AFE is generally considered the best compromise between flow and protection by top diesel tuners. Same style as K&N, oiled gauze. It is what I have been using in all my diesel vehicles.

That price for the GDE turbo includes the required turbo tune and there is a discount if you already have a GDE tune although I forget how much. FYI you will need a heavy duty torque convertor (Euro or SunCoast or some such); the stock converter won't handle the power if you stomp the go pedal (instant shudder). Nice upgrade though essentially no turbo lag; lots of power; no vacuum/boost pressure solenoid to worry about.

Is the GDE turbo louder then stock? IE turbo whistle wine etc?

No difference that I can hear. That's with a stock cat and muffler. My 65 year old ears can hear the turbo whistle but usually only at lower speeds on a cold engine. Now go pedal response is vastly different.
