I am replacing my Serpentine Belt, Tensioner assembly and Idler pulleys on my 2006 CRD. There appears to be some discrepency about torque settings quoted/listed in the FSM. Accordingly, I am treading cautiously lest a sheared bolt make a bigger project out of a smaller one.
The torque specs I found here:
http://colorado4wheel.com/manuals/Jeep/ ... -KJ-SM.pdf for the Belt Tensioner and Idler pulleys (Group Tab Locator 9 - Engine, page ENGINE - 2.8L DIESEL 9 – 1599 or Position 4116 on the scroll down bar) show:
33 ft lbs for the Belt Tensioner Bracket (Accessory Drive Bracket)
39 ft lbs for each of the two Idler Pulleys
Are these the correct torque value settings that folks here on the board are using for torquing these components?
Thanks in advance for your help!
