I'd like to see a list of CRD owners that have the VM Special Toolset, and are you willing to:
1)Loan locally
2)Rent out(beyond your area code)
3)Sell outright
(If answers to 1-3 are no,no big deal, just post up so locals can beat your door down)

I'm sure I'm not the only one out there interrested in this info.
Thanks guys,
bub

I'd like to rent/borrow the tool kit in the Ventura Ca. area. I'm at 99,000 miles with the parts sitting in my garage.

There are two complete sets, Miller Tool #9599, for sale on ebay at this time for $599.00 each. No need to break down doors, just open your wallet.

Any member here that is financially able, those kits on Ebay are a GREAT investment that shouldn't be allowed to vanish into the ether. Every CRD should have a set, it can only add to the resale value anyway, so it isn't like you would be losing money on buying the tools.

I'm in Savannah, Ga with a set, and while I'm not comfortable loaning / renting them away from my sight, I have no problem at all renting my two hands WITH them, both to meet / help fellow CRD owners... And to supply my hands with pizza and rum to hold in front of my face. Location is not that important, I'm willing to travel for the right incentives.

Bub, Geordi is your man.
You know that working in the heat down there is going to be difficult and it's coming just around the corner, so open communication channels before it hits.

I dunno Dan, Sam is saying that from OUTSIDE the "South", he may not know that he has a decent chance of having more teeth than the girl, and less hair! :-)r

Some Southern Girls are very pretty, certainly... But there are some real scary ones too.

$599 for a set of tools that theoretically will only be used once in the life of the Jeep? I think I'll pass.

It ended with my tools returned and that's what really mattered to me. If you want to use my tools fine, but it will be in my garage.

When you are buying the toolkit you can always add one of these to your cart:

Green Diesel will rent the tools to you for a pittance. $30 with a $100 refundable deposit when you send the tools back.

Are you kidding? Have you seen how all twisted that thing is? And talk about filthy, it must have been dragged through the gutter at least a dozen times or more.

You'd have to pay us to take it, but I think I'll stick with the nice clean innocent one that I already have.
