$26,945 for the V8 with the Torque Flite Transmission. $2,850 for the Diesel option. $29,795 - Yep. |

It's available only in the reg cab + 8' bed, the quad cab + 6'4 bed, crew cab + 5'7 bed (all on 140" frame), and crew cab + 6'4 bed (149" frame). I don't think you can get the outdoorsman package on the diesel, the lowest model one i've seen is an SLT. |

Don't know if I can ever trust the engineering of a VM product again. What will it be in 4-5 years, rocker arms, turbos, bearings, valve train???? Any guesses? |

"head gaskets" Or really, TTY head bolts? I hope that they at least put hardened washers in there.... I am personally satisfied that part of the overall wear problem is the oil DC specified, i.e. 0w-40, another part of the problem is the EGR system designed for the US market, and the final part of the problem is the lack of a bypass filtration system. Bypass filtration can overcome the soot loading problem, but it does add complexity to the system. |
