The CRD just got a little chirpy, so I ordered the alternator from Autozone. I swear I have read on here that it was reman'd in the USA. The one I got is not. :(. Still made the chirp and tensioner shakes go away. FYI people.

http://www.maniacelectricmotors.com/ will take care of you with a high quality rebuild with superior customer service, outstanding quality, and great pricing!

I never had to replace my alternator on my KJ CRD but did lose my alternator on my WK CRD 2 years ago and they saved me a small fortune.

I had AC Delco in Cincinnati rebuild mine, because there wasn't one available in America for under $400 when mine blew up.

They dont have the crd one right now, but prices are pretty good, I paid little over 400 for a 200 amp xj alternator, they have 180 amp alts for about 250, which is great price. Thanks for the link!
